This series will teach you the fundamentals of Digital Campaigning for charities, non-profits, causes, and advocacy.

Instructor Zain Velji will cover the range of digital platforms and tools available to help you build power and achieve your goals. Over the course of two sessions, you learn how to:

  • Tool your campaign for maximum efficiency
  • Understand the philosophy of relational organizing
  • Learn to integrate relational organizing into your campaign
  • Use relational campaigning tactics and technologies

Sessions will take place online over Zoom on November 16 and November 23, 2020, 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Group size will be capped at 15 to ensure individual attention for students.

Price includes both sessions.


Zain Velji is a strategist, business-owner, community volunteer, and former campaign manager for Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi. Zain is a Partner at Northweather, a strategy and marketing firm focusing on charities, non-profits, causes, and advocacy. Zain is co-creator and host of the highly-rated political podcast The Strategists (and its sister podcast, You The People), which dissects the strategies of political campaigns and parties and was the inspiration of the CBC TV and radio panel of the same name.
